 | We are Analog | Jan 13, 2007 |
We are programmed to draw and mimic sounds from dot-matrix printers. We eat everything that's blue and we represent Cubao in all its grime and beauty. We are deployed to harmoniously invade outdoor or indoor space. Our main mission is to make a space/surface interesting rather than just leaving a mark. We don't work overtime. We do take a break. We need not deploy when there's no mission. We never forget our main mission. Graffiti, street art, public/urban art or just plain vandalism, you be the judge. We communicate through this medium. We were built that way.
Manila road signs are so confusing. Most are pointlessly situated where you won't see/notice it. Too bad if your not from around here. Chances are, you'd get eaten by the street crocodiles. But fuck urban planning! Let's roll with it, Analog stylee. Somewhere in Greenhills, San Juan.

PSP holdin' it down for Manila.
It's never easy to stick your stash when you're in a clean city like Tokyo. It's zen. And you don't wanna fuck the shit up with Mr. Zen. Ever. |

boXed 2008 is about the erotic stories behind the corners of your wall… about the sensual subconscious and the real or the unreal… revolving, evolving and dying, decomposing and living once again. We talk about the taboo of our inner world as we create a whole universe of sensitivity. A universe of stories told and untold. 11.15.08 / 6PM The CUBICLE ART GALLERY 40A. C. | The Question is, would you rather stay asleep, floating in an absurd fantasy or be in control consciously in the real world? Hot PandeSayn members explore that fascinating and mysterious place between personal fantasy and the inevitable reality. Feel free to experience four different "blurrealities". Each is an individual expression of discovery and self-exploration, of repressed dreams and funny fantasies. Some are whimsically illogical, some bizarre, even comedic. Each piece holds a deeply personal meaning hidden beneath a seemingly nonsense aesthetic. CHICA ALINELL + STEPH CHAN + SHARRY BOBADILLA + JOAN TEE Exhibit opens on MARCH 20 SIGWADA GALLERY 1921 Oroqueta St. Sta. Cruz, Manila |
